2011, Is it here already!?
Seems like yesterday was the beginning of 2010 and now, what do you know, it’s frickin’ 2011! The holidays are always a nice thing to enjoy, but unfortunately they are now over. Back to doing the other things.
Anyways, 2010 was a decent year. Saw lots of new tech and apps in the mobile arena. Speaking of mobile tech, I got a Android phone in 2010, and I got to say that I really do like the thing. I don’t think I will ever go back to a non-touchscreen phone device after using this awesome thing. Touchscreens are such a interactive experience, ‘cause you can, well, touch them!! And cool things happen in the places that you touched. After using this pretty snazzy piece of tech for a while it really makes me want to get a nice touchscreen for my desktop, but looking at the prices, a bit to expensive for my liking… But, all that can change with what I’ve seen at CES 2011 so far. There are tons of new touchscreen tablets and mobile devices out there, and I mean tons! Might have to get myself one of those instead of getting a touchscreen for my desktop.
Now on to more tech related stuff. Ok, there is this nice new thing out in the wild, and it’s called Google TV, and it looks pretty nice. You can search the web on it, find videos from popular site like Youtube(for example), install apps, watch your cable/satellite, and much more. It’s going to have a Netflix app and the likes included as well. And last month (December 2010) Google held a Google TV contest. So all someone had to do to enter, was to make a video about Google TV and upload it to YouTube. So I decided to do just that. And of course I only had less then a day to do it in, since I started working on the video on the day the contest submission period was going to end. So I quickly made a song and video, and this is what I came up with, haha.

Ok, well it didn’t turn out too bad, I hope, lol. But would of defiantly liked to put way more of a polish on it. The initial song was about 2:30 and since the video was only suppose to be a minute long, I had to condense it down to, yeah, a minute. And since I had to rush to get it done, I was planning on making a video with the full version of the song later, which I have yet to start on…
