Valentine's Day

It seems to be that one is either happy and so in love at this time of year or on the flip side life is instead hated because loneliness sets in. There is also a middle ground between the two mentioned positions, that position being that one just doesn't care about this holiday and might have other focuses to focus on; either that or it's a somewhat lame excuse to cover the fact that no Valentine is to be had by the individual in question this year. Some might also be the type to disrespect Valentines day and say it's lame to hide from the fact that they are Valentine-less, sad story indeed. I'm sure we would all love to hear about it someday; OK maybe not?

Then there are those who use this day to just plainly and simply hurt others. To spite someone they may become a Valentine to someone who they don't really care for in the slightest just to make another person jealous and to see how they are going to react. People like this seem to love it when they get a negative response, guess it makes them feel all powerful inside... If only they used that energy to get involved in a real relationship. Their loss I suppose, just hope they don't hurt anyone who is feeling really weak emotionally and has nobody to lean on for support.

There is also the social aspect to Valentine's day, some still haven't met that right person so they get a Valentine to basically fit in with the crowd, when really they could care less about the person they reluctantly chose to pamper for a day.

Then there is the whole argument of, why should there be a need for a special day to treat the one you love with all your attention, focus, and to treat them extra good that day. Should I not treat my love that way all the time when I am around him or her? Valid point don't you agree? But sometimes things happen and other priorities take hold on ones life, so if anything this day should be a reminder to get you back into the habit of treating your special someone much better then you might have otherwise done.

People sure buy a lot of things around this time and Companies love that. Profit margins probably go up quite a bit on all the hot items to be purchased this Valentine's day. Nothing wrong with that, I just hope that more people will go the extra mile and be more creative with their gifts and to not just go the boring old route of all flowers and chocolate and that's pretty much it. You are paying attention to their interests right? I can guarantee you that your special someone has many more interests then food and decor! So let them know that you know this and can take the time to at least get a worthwhile gift!

So if you already knew most of the stuff in this article then just let it be a reminder to treat your girl or your man with romantic love and respect this day at least, and yes it's OK to spoil someone in luxuries this lovely day! Oh and be sure to watch the video I made about this dreamy day!
