This is a new application that has now been gracing the minds of many adventurous individuals with their anima/animus to guide the creation of their short videos. This new service is called Vine, and it’s all about pushing forth awesome content that is much more interactive than say a picture; and certainly much more interactive than just some text. This leaves the window of interpretation less fogged up and to have a better view for the others who are looking out of this window as they can see more clearly what the original poster is trying to portray.

This great service was bought out by Twitter, which is a great fit simply because this service has a limitation that is quite similar to Twitter's character limitation. Vine limits the users portrayal time to just a mere 6 seconds per video. Now before you just up and close this article thinking about what you can possibly do in six seconds why not hear me out.

This limitation helps spur creativity, as a producer who is creating something with this application has to figure out how to portray their message in that condensed garbage condenser of a time-frame. How much information can you cram into 6 seconds? Well I would think quite a bit, since after all, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, and Vine has about 180 pictures/frames if you are recording at 30 frames per second; so that’s about 180 thousand times more awe inspiring than just one measly static picture -- well once you subtract one from that number.

I feel this will be the next social networking revolution, just as Instagram made random picture taking a real thing, this will make anybody and everybody into a mini producer of something. Alright I know relating back to the past, most social networking sites have had video posting capabilities much before this new thing came out, and they didn’t get used all that often. The reason for this seems to be that not many people want to either take 5 minutes to record something, or on the other end, the person viewing someones post might not have 5 minutes to sit there and watch a video for an extended period of time; especially if every single one of their friends is posting a feature length video. Now bring in 6 seconds onto the playing field and people can breeze through that like it’s nothing -- it's no big thing at all.

You can even create little short stop animations since the interface for this program was very well designed. You can simply touch almost anywhere on your devices screen and it will record for the duration that you are holding a register, such as your finger, on the screen for. Once you release your finger you will then be able to adjust your scene to your liking. Then you may move, say for instance a banana a few inches -- depending on how fast the animation is gauged to be running at -- then continue to register the recording again for a few more seconds -- or more like milliseconds for a stop motion animation. The reason I mentioned a banana is that I did that very thing and you can see the flesh of the fruit disappearing here:
