This is a post about a event coming up called "Weekend of Minecraft." This seems like it's gonna be a cool event. Check out this video for information about the event.



Weekend of Minecraft, coming to a weekend near you. That’s March 26th and 27th to be exact! Don’t I already do this? Well, I’m sure it's nowhere near as epic as this event will be!

So what is Weekend of Minecraft you ask?
Well good question. This is going to be a event that will allow you, Yes, YOU, to be able to build, talk, ask questions and do other stuff with none other then the [ mojang.com ] crew themselves, and other awesome Minecraft players, such as [ www.deadmau5.com ] and other prominent players!

This whole event will take place on a live stream, so even if you can’t connect to the server, you can still take part in some of the action.

How do I participate?
Well, for starters there is going to be two servers, one in which you need to prove your point, by showcasing some awesome stuff that you have build in a video response to the official announcement video, See [ weekendofminecraft.net ] to be able to join. The other server will be open to anybody who will play nice.

Why should I participate?
Well if not just be apart of a epic weekend event, then do know that prizes will be given out! That’s right, Beta keys, maybe even Alpha keys to Minecraft, your favorite game. But hold on, that’s not the end of that, Steam games, Minecraft T-Shirts, and much more could be yours!

So come on down and join us for a weekend of pure awesomeness. All you need is a computer, Internet connection and either Minecraft, or access to the live stream to participate from anywhere in the world!
