The US now has an awesome resource website available to anyone in the public, where one can go to find out all about the internet connections provided in a given area! A perfect use for this would be if you're looking to move, and want to make sure that a decent connection is available around that area. Well you're in luck, just go to [ www.broadbandmap.gov ] and you'll get just that, and at what speeds they advertise at! Awesome I know. I've been curious myself to see all the different connections that are out and about. And to see just how we rate up compared to other parts of the world on our internet infrastructure!

Also if you're not sure about all the different providers that are in your area, just go have a look at [ www.broadbandmap.gov ] and see the wondrous world of the web. Now the data is not 100% correct all the time, but it aims to be as accurate as possible. And you can only get the map to zoom in so far in most areas and still have data. And if you type in your city and state then you can see a list of known providers in that area and at what speeds they offer.
